First Night Boondocking

After making it through the nightmare that is LA traffic we made it to Lost Hills California and the Pilot travel center where we backed into a spot next to a big rig.  We were nervous but ready to figure it out early.  Why?  Because the more we boondock the more money we save.  There was an RV resort entrance 20 steps from the back of our RV and when we inquired about rates they were $48 a night. Boom...we just made $48! That's how we are thinking at least.  Boyd and I slept great.  Erica and Blythe slept decent.  We were the only RV in the lot but felt safe.
