Meet Ava

After our year of promises to the kids.  After Erica patiently waiting for her first choice of the rescue dogs she viewed online.  This dog patiently waited a month for our return to San Diego.  Ava became an official member of our family on Saturday June 22nd.  She has been a lot of work but it has been worth every day's effort so far!  She is sevenish and doesn't know her name, or English for that matter, but she is learning fast. The kids are holding up to their end of the bargain so far with responsibilities.  It's been a good week with her here with us!
